Job Title: Museum Educator

Job Description

As a Museum Educator at Space Center Houston, you will play a vital role in engaging and educating visitors of all ages about space exploration. You will lead interactive educational programs, tours, and workshops that bring the wonders of space to life. In addition, you will assist in developing educational materials and activities that enhance the visitor experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead educational programs and tours for visitors of all ages
• Develop and implement hands-on activities and workshops
• Create educational materials such as brochures, displays, and signage
• Assist with outreach programs and events
• Collaborate with other team members to enhance the museum experience

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in education, museum studies, or a related field
• Experience working in a museum, science center, or educational setting
• Passion for space exploration and science education
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings
