Job Title: Youth Ministry Coordinator

Job Description:

St Francis De Sales Church is seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join our team as a Youth Ministry Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the youth ministry program at our parish, engaging with young people in a meaningful way, and fostering their spiritual growth.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate youth programs
• Coordinate and facilitate youth retreats, events, and activities
• Recruit and train volunteer youth leaders
• Build relationships with youth and their families to promote a sense of community
• Collaborate with the parish leadership team to integrate youth into the overall life of the church
• Provide pastoral care and support to youth in times of need

Qualifications:

• A strong commitment to the Catholic faith and the teachings of the Church
• Prior experience working with youth in a ministry setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
