We are Hiring: Music Director

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and direct the church choir during worship services and special events
• Select appropriate hymns, chants, and music for each service
• Coordinate with clergy and other church leaders to ensure a cohesive worship experience
• Organize and oversee rehearsals for the choir members
• Collaborate with musicians and other artists to enhance the music program
• Provide musical accompaniment during services, as needed

Qualifications:

• Experience in conducting a choir and leading musical groups
• Proficiency in playing piano, organ, or another musical instrument
• Knowledge of Eastern Orthodox liturgical music and traditions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of individuals
• Dedication to the church’s mission and values
