Position: Director of Music Ministry

We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Director of Music Ministry to lead our music program and enhance our worship services. This is a part-time position requiring approximately 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate music for all worship services, including selecting hymns, anthems, and other music selections
• Lead and direct the choir and other musicians during rehearsals and services
• Collaborate with the clergy and other staff members to enhance the overall worship experience
• Recruit and train new choir members and musicians
• Attend staff meetings and participate in the overall life of the church community

Qualifications:

• Experience leading a church choir or music program
• Proficiency in piano or organ playing
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with others
• Knowledge of Episcopal liturgy and music traditions
