We are Hiring for the Following Position:

Event Coordinator

As an Event Coordinator at Star Ballroom La Porte, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our events. You will work closely with clients to understand their vision and preferences, and then coordinate all the necessary details to bring that vision to life. Your creativity, attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills will be essential in creating memorable experiences for our clients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Meet with clients to discuss event details, preferences, and budget
• Create event timelines, floor plans, and seating arrangements
• Coordinate with vendors, such as caterers, florists, and photographers
• Manage event setup and breakdown, ensuring everything runs smoothly
• Provide on-site support during events to address any issues that may arise
• Ensure that all client needs and requests are met in a timely and professional manner

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in event planning or coordination
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and problem-solve effectively
• Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed
• Knowledge of event planning software and tools is a plus
