Position Available: Line Cook

We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook at Sugar’s Cajun Cuisine & Bar, you will play a crucial role in preparing and cooking our signature dishes with precision and creativity. You will work closely with our Head Chef to execute recipes, maintain a clean and organized kitchen, and uphold our high standards of quality and presentation.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping, marinating, and portioning
• Cook dishes to order, following established recipes and techniques
• Ensure food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and plated attractively
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment at all times
• Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Line Cook in a busy kitchen
• Strong knowledge of Creole and Cajun cuisine
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and a passion for food
• Team player with excellent communication skills
• Valid Food Handler’s Permit
