Summer Camp Counselor Jobs for 13 Year Olds

About Us:

We are a well-established summer camp located in the heart of the countryside, offering a wide range of exciting activities for children aged 6-16. Our camp prides itself on providing a fun and safe environment for campers to learn new skills, make friends, and create lasting memories. We are currently looking for enthusiastic and responsible 13-year-olds to join our team as Summer Camp Counselors.

Position Overview:

As a Summer Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and happiness of our campers. You will be responsible for leading activities, supervising campers, and creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere. This is a fantastic opportunity for 13-year-olds to gain valuable leadership experience, develop their communication skills, and make a difference in the lives of young campers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a group of campers throughout the day
• Plan and facilitate engaging activities and games
• Promote a safe and inclusive environment for all campers
• Act as a positive role model for campers
• Assist with meal times, bedtime routines, and other daily tasks

Qualifications:

• Must be 13 years old at the time of employment
• Previous experience working with children is preferred but not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team and take initiative
• Passion for working with children and creating a fun and supportive environment
