Position: Physician/Surgeon, Ophthalmology
Job Responsibilities:
- Examine, diagnose, and treat patients with various eye conditions and diseases
- Perform surgical procedures as needed, such as cataract surgery, LASIK, or corneal transplantation
- Evaluate patients’ medical histories and provide recommendations for ongoing care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Stay current on advances in Ophthalmology through continuing education and research
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Board certification in Ophthalmology
- Valid medical license in the state of Kentucky (or eligible for licensure)
- Strong surgical skills and experience in Ophthalmology procedures
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
