Position: Family Medicine Physician

Job Description:

As a Family Medicine Physician at Tanglewood Clinic / Memorial Hermann Medical Group, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages. You will diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions, collaborate with other healthcare professionals, and educate patients on preventive care practices. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and medical histories for patients
  • Diagnose and treat various acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work and imaging studies
  • Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans for patients
  • Provide counseling and education to patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses and specialists, to coordinate patient care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
  • Board certification in Family Medicine
  • Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of Texas
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based medicine
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
  • Experience working in a primary care setting is preferred
