Position Available: Line Cook

As a Line Cook at Taqueria Los Jaimes, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to our recipes and specifications. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables and marinating meats
• Cook dishes in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and quality
• Follow proper food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and work areas
• Collaborate with the rest of the kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a line cook in a restaurant setting
• Knowledge of Mexican cuisine and cooking techniques
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Food Handler’s Certificate is a plus

Position Available: Server

As a Server at Taqueria Los Jaimes, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests. We are looking for individuals who are friendly, outgoing, and have a passion for hospitality.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Take customer orders and serve food and beverages promptly
• Answer questions about menu items and make recommendations
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a server in a restaurant setting
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
• Knowledge of basic food and beverage service
• Team player with a positive attitude
