We are Hiring: Educational Coordinator
Job Description
As an Educational Coordinator at Texas Academic Decathlon, you will play a crucial role in planning, organizing, and executing academic competitions and events for high school students. You will work closely with school administrators, teachers, students, and volunteers to ensure the success of our programs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, excellent organizational skills, and strong leadership abilities.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee academic competitions and events throughout the year
- Develop and implement educational programs for students in accordance with academic standards
- Collaborate with school administrators and teachers to promote participation in Texas Academic Decathlon
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of volunteers to assist with event logistics
- Evaluate student performance and provide feedback to help them improve their academic skills
- Assist with fundraising and outreach efforts to support the organization’s mission
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field
- Experience working with high school students in an educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of academic standards and educational best practices
- Previous experience in event planning or coordination is a plus
