Job Title: Disabled Accessibility Contractor
Position Overview
As a Disabled Accessibility Contractor at Texas Access, you will be responsible for assessing, designing, and implementing accessibility solutions for a variety of projects. You will work closely with clients to understand their specific needs and requirements, and then develop customized solutions to meet those needs. This role requires a thorough understanding of accessibility codes and regulations, as well as a creative approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct accessibility assessments of buildings and spaces
- Design and implement accessibility solutions, such as ramps, handrails, and elevators
- Collaborate with clients to develop customized accessibility plans
- Ensure that all projects meet or exceed accessibility standards and regulations
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for accessibility solutions
Qualifications
- Previous experience in accessibility design and construction
- Knowledge of ADA, TAS, and other accessibility codes and regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
