Available Positions:

  • Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist

  • Oncology Social Worker

Responsibilities:

Registered Nurse (RN):

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering chemotherapy and monitoring patients’ responses to treatment
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Educate patients and families about treatment options, side effects, and self-care
  • Ensure adherence to treatment protocols and best practices in oncology nursing

Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist:

  • Diagnose and treat pediatric patients with cancer and blood disorders
  • Develop comprehensive treatment plans and oversee patient care
  • Participate in research and clinical trials to advance knowledge and treatment options in pediatric oncology and hematology
  • Provide guidance and support to patients and families throughout the treatment process

Medical Assistant:

  • Assist healthcare providers in patient examinations and procedures
  • Take vital signs, record medical histories, and input patient information into electronic health records
  • Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical supplies
  • Provide compassionate care and support to pediatric patients and their families

Oncology Social Worker:

  • Assess the psychosocial needs of patients and families affected by cancer and blood disorders
  • Provide counseling, emotional support, and resources to help patients cope with diagnosis and treatment
  • Coordinate care with healthcare team members and community organizations to address holistic patient needs
  • Advocate for patients and families to ensure access to necessary support services

Clinical Research Coordinator:

  • Coordinate and oversee clinical research studies related to pediatric oncology and hematology
  • Recruit and enroll eligible patients into research protocols
  • Collect and manage study data, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Communicate study progress and findings to research team members and stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Appropriate educational background and professional certification/licensure for each position
  • Prior experience in pediatric oncology and hematology preferred
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to pediatric patients and their families
  • Dedication to continuous learning and professional development
