Position: Pediatric Emergency Room Nurse

As a Pediatric Emergency Room Nurse at Texas Children’s Hospital Emergency Center, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing compassionate care to pediatric patients in need of urgent medical attention. Our nurses are an essential part of our team, ensuring that each child receives the highest level of care and comfort during their time in the emergency room.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assessing and triaging patients quickly and efficiently
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
• Supporting and educating patients and families on their conditions and treatment plans
• Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of Texas
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric emergency care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
