Job Title: Gas Technician

Job Description

Texas Eastern Transmission is currently seeking a Gas Technician to join our team. The Gas Technician will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our natural gas pipelines and facilities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Performing routine maintenance and inspections on pipelines and compressor stations
• Responding to and resolving emergency situations, such as gas leaks
• Operating and maintaining pipeline equipment
• Ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations
• Participating in training programs to enhance technical skills

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Gas Technician position will possess the following qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in the natural gas industry
• Knowledge of pipeline operations and maintenance
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
