Position: Sous Chef
We are currently seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our culinary team at The Blue Fish on Washington. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating innovative and delicious dishes using fresh, high-quality ingredients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in creating and preparing menu items
- Ensure the kitchen meets all sanitation and food safety standards
- Lead and train kitchen staff to maintain high culinary standards
- Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies
- Collaborate with the front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume restaurant
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Passion for creating and presenting delicious dishes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and seafood preparation
