Job Title: Addiction Counselor

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Addiction Counselor to join our team at The Graduate House. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in counseling and addiction treatment, with a focus on providing individual and group therapy to clients struggling with drug abuse and addiction.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting assessments to determine clients’ treatment needs
• Developing individualized treatment plans based on clients’ goals and progress
• Providing counseling and therapy to clients, both individually and in group settings
• Monitoring clients’ progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
• Collaborating with other members of the treatment team to provide a holistic approach to care
• Documenting client progress and treatment outcomes
• Providing education and support to clients’ families

Qualifications:

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
• Certification or licensure as an Addiction Counselor (e.g., CAC, NCAC, or equivalent)
• Experience working in addiction treatment or related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
