We’re Hiring: Optician

At Today’s Vision Tanglewood, we are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Optician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping customers find the perfect eyewear that not only enhances their vision but also complements their style. As an Optician, you will play a crucial role in providing personalized eye care solutions and ensuring our customers leave satisfied with their purchase.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in selecting eyewear that meets their prescription and style preferences
• Perform vision tests and measurements to ensure accurate fitting of eyeglasses
• Educate customers on proper eyewear care and maintenance
• Adjust and repair eyeglasses as needed
• Process orders and maintain accurate customer records
• Stay up-to-date on the latest eyewear trends and technologies

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Optician in a retail setting
• Strong knowledge of different types of lenses, frames, and coatings
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
• Optician certification preferred
