Position: Wound Care Specialist

We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Wound Care Specialist to join our team at Tomball Regional Medical Center Wound Care. Our facility is a leading provider of wound care services in the Tomball area, offering state-of-the-art treatment options for patients with chronic and complex wounds. If you are passionate about wound care and are looking to make a difference in the lives of patients, we want to hear from you.

Job Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and treat patients with chronic wounds, including pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers, surgical wounds, and other types of non-healing wounds
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on the specific needs of each patient
• Coordinate care with other healthcare providers, such as physicians, nurses, and physical therapists
• Educate patients and their families on wound care management and prevention
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Stay current on the latest advancements in wound care technology and treatment options

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Certification in Wound Care preferred
• Possess a strong understanding of wound healing principles and techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Experience in wound care management is a plus
