We are Hiring:

Position: Machinist

Location: Detroit, Michigan

We are currently seeking a skilled machinist to join our team at United Machine Works. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a machine shop setting, with a focus on automotive machining. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Perform quality control checks to ensure parts meet specifications
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a machinist
• Proficiency in operating CNC machines
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
