Job Title: Construction Consultant

Job Description

United Restoration and Preservation is currently seeking a Construction Consultant to join our team. The Construction Consultant will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on restoration and preservation projects, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards and in compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assessing the condition of buildings and structures
• Developing restoration and preservation plans
• Providing cost estimates and timelines for projects
• Collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors
• Monitoring project progress and quality of work
• Ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations
• Providing recommendations for improvements and enhancements
• Delivering reports and presentations to clients

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction consulting
• Strong knowledge of historic restoration and preservation techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
• Certification in construction management is a plus
