We Are Hiring: Social Services Coordinator

Are you passionate about helping others and making a difference in the community? Do you have experience in social services and a heart for serving those in need? Unity Church of Truth is seeking a Social Services Coordinator to join our team and lead our efforts in providing support and resources to our congregation and the wider community.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement social service programs to meet the needs of our community
• Provide crisis intervention and support to individuals and families facing challenges
• Coordinate with local agencies and organizations to collaborate on social service initiatives
• Offer guidance and advocacy for individuals seeking assistance with housing, healthcare, and other essential services
• Create and maintain a resource directory for community members in need
• Organize workshops and events focused on personal development and well-being

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in social services or related field
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences
• Passion for helping others and making a positive impact
• Knowledge of community resources and support services
