Pet Boarding & Kennels Position: Pet Care Attendant

We are currently seeking a Pet Care Attendant to join our team at VCA Prestonwood Animal Hospital. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with animals and providing top-notch care for our boarding and daycare guests. Responsibilities include:

• Feeding, walking, and providing basic care for pets staying at our facility
• Monitoring each pet’s health and well-being
• Cleaning and sanitizing kennels and communal areas
• Assisting with grooming and bathing as needed
• Interacting with clients to provide updates on their pets

If you are a compassionate individual who loves working with animals, this may be the perfect opportunity for you. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Veterinarians Position: Associate Veterinarian

We are looking for a dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join our team at VCA Prestonwood Animal Hospital. Our hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and technology to provide the best possible care for our patients. Responsibilities include:

• Performing physical exams and diagnostic tests on animals
• Developing treatment plans and discussing them with pet owners
• Performing surgeries and dental procedures as needed
• Providing preventative care, vaccines, and parasite control
• Collaborating with other veterinary professionals to ensure comprehensive care

The ideal candidate will have a DVM or VMD degree and be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Texas. Excellent communication skills and a passion for improving the lives of animals are a must.

Pet Services Position: Receptionist

We are seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist to join our team at VCA Prestonwood Animal Hospital. The Receptionist plays a crucial role in ensuring clients have a positive experience when visiting our hospital. Responsibilities include:

• Greeting clients and checking them in for their appointments
• Scheduling appointments and managing the front desk
• Answering phone calls and addressing client inquiries
• Processing payments and managing client records
• Assisting with administrative tasks as needed

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
