We are currently hiring for the following positions:

• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Medical Social Worker
• Chaplain

Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities:

As a Registered Nurse at Vitas Inpatient Hospice Unit, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, coordinating interdisciplinary team meetings, and developing individualized care plans for patients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assessing and monitoring patients’ medical condition
• Administering medications and treatments
• Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities:

As a Certified Nursing Assistant at Vitas Inpatient Hospice Unit, you will play a key role in providing daily care and support to patients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Providing emotional support and companionship to patients
• Reporting any changes in patients’ condition to the nursing staff

Medical Social Worker Responsibilities:

As a Medical Social Worker at Vitas Inpatient Hospice Unit, you will be responsible for providing emotional support, counseling, and resources to patients and their families. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assessing patients’ psychosocial needs and developing care plans
• Providing counseling and support to patients and families coping with end-of-life issues
• Connecting patients and families to community resources and support services

Chaplain Responsibilities:

As a Chaplain at Vitas Inpatient Hospice Unit, you will provide spiritual care and support to patients and their families. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assessing patients’ spiritual needs and providing pastoral care
• Offering emotional support and comfort to patients and families
• Facilitating spiritual rituals and ceremonies as requested

Qualifications:

We are looking for compassionate individuals with a strong commitment to providing quality care to patients and their families. The following qualifications are required for each position:

Registered Nurse (RN):

• Current RN license in the state of employment
• Minimum of 1 year of hospice or palliative care experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):

• Current CNA certification in the state of employment
• Experience in hospice or palliative care preferred
• Compassionate and patient-focused attitude

Medical Social Worker:

• Master’s degree in Social Work
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) preferred
• Experience in healthcare or hospice setting

Chaplain:

• Ordination or endorsement by a recognized religious organization
• Experience providing spiritual care in a healthcare setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
