Job Description:

As a Garbage Collection Specialist at WCA Waste Corp, you will be responsible for collecting trash from residential and commercial properties in a safe and timely manner. Your duties will include:

• Operating a garbage truck to pick up scheduled waste containers
• Following established routes to ensure all customers are serviced
• Interacting with customers in a professional and friendly manner
• Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the truck and equipment

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift and carry heavy loads on a frequent basis
• Excellent communication skills
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
