Job Title: Loans Specialist

Job Description

As a Loans Specialist at West Houston Volkswagen, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers with securing financing for their new or used vehicles. You will be responsible for guiding customers through the loan application process, explaining various financing options, and ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Educate customers on available financing options and terms
• Assist customers with completing loan applications
• Evaluate customers’ creditworthiness and financial situations
• Negotiate loan terms with financial institutions on behalf of customers
• Ensure all loan documentation is accurate and submitted in a timely manner
• Follow up with customers and financial institutions to expedite loan approval
• Provide ongoing support to customers regarding loan status and payment obligations

Requirements

• Previous experience in automotive financing or a related field
• Strong understanding of loan application processes and credit evaluation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
