Position: City Waste Management Supervisor

Location: Westpark, CA

Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 per year

Job Description

We are currently seeking a City Waste Management Supervisor to oversee and coordinate waste management operations in Westpark, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in waste management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for sustainability.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day waste collection operations in the city
• Develop and implement waste management policies and procedures
• Monitor waste collection activities and ensure compliance with regulations
• Supervise a team of waste collection workers and provide training and support
• Collaborate with city officials and community stakeholders to promote recycling and waste reduction initiatives
• Track and analyze waste management data to identify areas for improvement

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Public Administration, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in waste management or environmental services
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of waste management regulations and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
