Position Available: Elementary School Teacher

At Wheeler Avenue Christian Academy, we believe that education is a calling and that teachers play a crucial role in shaping the minds and hearts of our students. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Elementary School Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to academic excellence, have a passion for working with young children, and be dedicated to integrating Christian values into their teaching.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the individual needs of students
• Create a positive and nurturing learning environment
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and administrators
• Integrate Christian values and teachings into all aspects of the curriculum

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
• Texas Teaching Certificate
• Experience working with elementary school students
• Strong understanding of Christian principles and their application in education
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
