Position: Bankruptcy Law Attorney

Job Description

As a Bankruptcy Law Attorney at William F Harmeyer and Associates PC, you will be responsible for representing clients in bankruptcy proceedings, providing legal advice, and handling all aspects of bankruptcy cases. You will work closely with clients to assess their financial situations, develop appropriate strategies to resolve debt issues, and guide them through the bankruptcy process.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting initial consultations with clients to assess their financial situations
• Preparing and filing bankruptcy petitions, motions, and other legal documents
• Representing clients in bankruptcy court hearings and negotiations with creditors
• Providing legal advice and guidance on bankruptcy laws and procedures
• Ensuring that clients understand their rights and obligations in bankruptcy cases
• Building strong relationships with clients and maintaining open communication throughout the bankruptcy process

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the state bar and in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in bankruptcy law
• Strong understanding of bankruptcy laws and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
