Position: Funeral Director Assistant
Responsibilities:
- Assist funeral directors with all aspects of funeral arrangements and services
- Provide support and assistance to grieving families with empathy and compassion
- Prepare and set up viewing rooms for visitations and services
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing death certificates and permits
- Ensure facilities are maintained and presentable at all times
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in the funeral industry is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and with sensitivity
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
