Job Description:

At Zaika Togo, we are looking for a talented Sous Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about Indian cuisine and has experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to create delicious dishes that meet our high standards of quality and presentation. Your responsibilities will include:

– Assisting the Head Chef in menu planning and recipe development
– Overseeing food preparation and ensuring that dishes are cooked to perfection
– Managing kitchen staff to maintain a clean and organized work environment
– Monitoring inventory and ordering supplies as needed
– Adhering to food safety standards and regulations
– Developing and implementing new cooking techniques to enhance the flavor and presentation of our dishes

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Sous Chef position at Zaika Togo, you must meet the following qualifications:

– 3+ years of experience in a similar role in an Indian restaurant
– Strong knowledge of Indian spices, flavors, and cooking techniques
– Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment
– Excellent communication and organizational skills
– Attention to detail and a passion for creating delicious dishes
– Culinary degree or certification is a plus
