Job Title: Freight Forwarding Specialist

Job Overview

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Freight Forwarding Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the freight forwarding process, including coordinating shipments, negotiating rates with carriers, and ensuring timely delivery of goods to their destinations. The Freight Forwarding Specialist will work closely with our clients to understand their shipping needs and provide customized solutions to meet their requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage international and domestic shipments
• Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers
• Prepare and process shipping documentation
• Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery
• Communicate with clients and provide updates on shipment status
• Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the shipping process
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in freight forwarding
• Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and shipping software
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
