We are currently looking for an Accountant to join our team:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to fill the role of Accountant at Taxamerica Inc. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax preparation. This individual will be responsible for assisting with bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, and analyzing financial data for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare and input financial data into accounting software
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial close processes
• Prepare financial statements and reports for clients
• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for improvement
• Assist with tax preparation and filing for individuals and businesses
• Communicate with clients to address any accounting or tax-related inquiries

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA certification is a plus
• 2+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
