Position Available: Director of Youth Ministry

We are currently seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join our team as the Director of Youth Ministry. This full-time position will be responsible for leading and coordinating all youth programs and activities at our church. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to the Christian faith, a heart for young people, and excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive youth ministry program that includes Sunday school, youth group meetings, retreats, service projects, and special events
• Recruit, train, and support volunteers to assist with youth ministry activities
• Provide pastoral care and guidance to youth and their families
• Create and maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all youth participants
• Collaborate with church staff and leadership to integrate youth ministry into the overall mission and vision of the church
• Stay up-to-date on trends and best practices in youth ministry

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in theology, Christian education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Previous experience working with youth in a church or faith-based setting
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team
• Passion for nurturing the spiritual growth and development of young people
• Alignment with the theological beliefs and values of Heritage Presbyterian Church
