We are currently seeking candidates for the following position:

Position: Youth Minister

Job Description:

• Lead and oversee all aspects of youth ministry, including Sunday School, youth group, retreats, and mission trips
• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities for students in grades 6-12
• Build relationships with youth and their families to foster spiritual growth and community
• Recruit and train volunteers to assist with youth ministry programs and events
• Coordinate and communicate with parents to keep them informed of youth ministry activities
• Collaborate with church staff and leadership to integrate youth ministry into the overall mission and vision of the church
• Attend regular staff meetings and participate in ongoing professional development

Qualifications:

• A personal commitment to Jesus Christ and an active involvement in a Baptist church
• A Bachelor’s degree in youth ministry, theology, or a related field is preferred
• Previous experience working with youth in a church or similar setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A heart for ministry and a desire to see young people grow in their faith
