Position Overview:
As a Physician/Surgeon in our ophthalmology department, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of eye conditions and diseases. You will work closely with our team of optometrists to provide comprehensive care to our patients. Responsibilities include:
Performing comprehensive eye exams and screenings
Diagnosing and treating eye conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration
Performing surgical procedures as needed
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
As an Optometrist, you will be responsible for conducting routine eye exams, prescribing corrective lenses, and diagnosing and treating common eye conditions. You will work closely with our ophthalmologists to provide comprehensive eye care services to our patients. Responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive eye exams and vision tests
Prescribing and fitting contact lenses and eyeglasses
Diagnosing and managing common eye conditions such as refractive errors and dry eye syndrome
Co-managing patients with ophthalmologists for more complex cases
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must meet the following requirements:
Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine
Board certification in ophthalmology or optometry
Licensure to practice in the state of [insert state]
