As an Optical Goods Specialist at Glasses By Phil, you will play a crucial role in helping customers find the perfect eyewear solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

– Assisting customers in selecting frames and lenses that suit their style preferences and vision requirements
– Conducting thorough eye examinations to determine the appropriate prescription for customers
– Providing recommendations on lens coatings and treatments to enhance visual clarity and protect eyes
– Adjusting and repairing frames to ensure a comfortable and secure fit for customers
– Educating customers on proper eyewear care and maintenance practices
– Collaborating with the rest of the team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:

– A degree in Optometry or a related field
– A valid optician license
– At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
– Strong knowledge of optical goods and the latest industry trends
– Excellent communication and customer service skills
– Ability to work well in a team environment
– Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
– Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
