Job Responsibilities

As an Optical Goods Sales Associate at Save Optical, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting customers in selecting eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses based on their prescription and personal style preferences
• Providing personalized recommendations and advice on lens options, frame materials, and lens coatings
• Performing accurate measurements and fittings to ensure proper alignment and comfort
• Processing customer transactions, including insurance claims and payments
• Maintaining a clean and organized store environment
• Participating in regular product training to stay up-to-date on the latest eyewear trends and technologies

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Optical Goods Sales Associate position should possess the following qualifications:

• Prior experience in retail sales, preferably in the optical industry
• Knowledge of basic eyewear terminology and prescription types
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to build rapport with customers
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented and organized with a positive attitude
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
